Battlefront Campaigners Wanted
- Aged 14-21?
- Do you have a campaign idea and want to make a difference?
If so, Battlefront needs you. Battlefront is an award winning multi-platform web and TV project from Channel 4. Last year Battlefront campaigners met the PM, dominated the news and made a difference. Channel 4 are doing it all again. But this time bigger, harder, faster, stronger. They will be choosing the new campaigners in Spring ready for kick off in early Summer. Being a Battlefronter is no easy ask. It takes a lot of time and effort, on top of all the work you’ve already got on – but if you’re keen, if you’re committed – then they will support you all the way. Ask any other Battlefronter and they’ll tell you the 9 month ride is totally worth it. If you want to be considered - submit your campaign idea and this year we’ll change the world...
Young Brits at Art
Young Brits at Art is our national arts awards competition for 11-19 year olds from all backgrounds and walks of life who live in England, Scotland and Wales. This academic year, they're asking you to show them what the world would look like if we lived without prejudice. You can submit many kinds of artwork, including paintings, drawings, photography, videos, animation and sound.
The deadline for submission is Wednesday 24 March 2010.
2Young2Die campaign competition
If you are aged between 11 and 25 and want to make a difference and save your generation’s lives on roads, then enter this competition and win big! Road deaths are a huge killer of young people. Every day on British roads, 6 young people aged 12-19 are killed or seriously hurt on foot or bicycles, and 19 young people under 25 are killed or seriously hurt in cars. You work in a group of mates to stop the carnage and must do two things: 1. Campaign to raise awareness of deaths of young people on roads in your community. 2. Collect donations for Brake, the road safety charity, by fundraising and having fun at the same time.
The deadline for entries this academic year is 30 April 2010.
