Play with possibilities

Power-Play has developed particular expertise in engaging children, young people and their families from urban, multi-ethnic communities.

Power-Play produces and manages bespoke, creative projects and workshops from inception to completion using processes that stimulate creative thinking styles, collective production and personal development. The process is valued as an opportunity for participants to gain a greater understanding of personal and social dynamics and to identify issues of importance to them.

Power-Play’s youth projects are custom-made and are all grounded in the belief that young people have much to offer and that media can be a powerful tool in their hands. Young people are empowered with the knowledge and skills to actively participate in communicating their views so they can make positive changes within their communities. All projects include elements of media production (video, writing, photography, multi-media, and/or music), workshops and exercises for issue awareness, team-building and personal development.
