What is Connexions?

If you are aged 13 to 19 (or up to 25 years old if you have a learning difficulty and/or disability), Connexions is about you. It's a service that helps you with things that affect your life.

How does it work?

You'll have access to your own Connexions personal adviser. Their job is to talk things through with you and help you sort things out.

Connexions personal advisers (PAs)

Man and a girl talkingAll young people aged 13 to 19 have access to a Connexions personal adviser who can give advice, information and arrange expert help if it is needed. Connexions personal advisers will listen and want to help. Connexions personal advisers can sort out any problems or issues that a young person needs help with.

Connexions personal advisers are easy to get in touch with as they are based in schools, colleges, youth clubs and other community venues. To talk to your Connexions personal adviser ask at school or call your local Connexions centre.

Connexions centres

Connexions centres have information zones that are free for anyone to use. Our books, magazines, CDs and free internet access let you have up-to-date info on courses, grants and benefits, jobs and much, much more.
