Apprenticeships

Are you 16-24?

Unemployed and would like to become an apprentice?

What we offer

We offer the following programmes in business administration, information technology and customer service:

  • Apprenticeships - Level 2 (for young people in employment)
  • Programme-led pathway apprenticeships- PLP (for young unemployed people).

These programmes offer free training for 16 - 24 years olds who are already working 16 hours or more a week, or seeking employment in these fields (business administration, information technology, and customer service.)

Book your place at one of the information briefings, where we will explain the training details and options available to suit your needs.

With a New Deal/Apprenticeship programme you learn how to do a job well, and learn other key skills that are useful whatever you do.

Its about practical skills and ability - not being academic. Apprentices and New Deal Learners are rewarded with respected qualifications, but best of all, you get paid whilst you learn!

On successful completion of your programme you can gain:

  • A Full Framework Qualification that incorporates an NVQ (National Vocational Qualification) Level 2/3, key skills Qualifications and a Technical Certificate
  • Additional training needed for the job eg IT
  • References from the employer for future job applications.

Successful completion may lead to continued employment with your employer.
