Young Mums to Be

This course aims to provide information and support to help new parents. If you’re 16-18 and pregnant, you could be entitled to take part, learning valuable skills in parenthood, including:

Coping with Labour

  • What’s it really like?
  • What choices can I make?
  • How can I make a good birth plan?
  • What are my pain relief options?

Looking after you and your baby

  • Healthy lifestyle information
  • Diet and nutrition advice
  • Exercise and relaxation tips
  • Baby care techniques
  • Learn how your baby develops
  • Creative and Social Activities

Entry to Employment (e2e)

The programme is a chance for you to develop the skills needed to progress into work, an Apprenticeship or Further Education.

e2e is completely different to school and other training courses as it focuses on your individual needs. The aim of e2e is to identify the barriers that stop you progressing and help you to overcome them.
