Sanjuro's special educational needs class
This class is for children from 7 years and their families. Glenn, the instructor has been recognised for his work in Haringey within the special needs community and is Sanjuro martial art's chief instructor.
Taster classes in March 2012 proved popular with students and their parents saying that the class offered a great opportunity for their child to have independence, increased confidence and improved balance, stamina and fitness. This is a martial art class that uses music to train to.

Free Swimming Lessons (16 years plus)
Before enrolling onto a swimming course adults are asked to register their interest using the online registration form. Six lessons are available for free as part of a 12-week course for adults of all ages aged 16 years or older.

Youth, Community and Participation Service are providing FREE Football Coaching and Matches for young people aged 13-19 years, with activities including Skills and Drills sessions.
Muswell Hill Power League
- Date: Every Friday
- Time: 6pm–7.30pm

- Ages: 13-19
All Coaches are qualified First Aiders and have been Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau checked.
Please bring: Astro-turf football boots, shin pads, kit (t-shirts, shorts, socks), tracksuit or clothing appropriate to weather conditions and plenty of fluids.
Junior Trampoline Courses
This Instructor led course for beginners or improvers will teach trampolining techniques including correct posture, turns and combinations. Great fun and great exercise too. Bounce away boredom and blues with this fun and energetic course.

Y-W8 - Autism’s social group
Y-W8 is a social group for young adults who live in North London and are on the Autistic spectrum.
Y-W8 is based at Area 51 in Wood Green, Haringey.
The group takes place on Monday evenings, from 6pm to 8pm, although this time may be extended, on occasion, to after 8pm to let us go on trips out.
The group consists of a mixture of men and women who are aged between 18 and 25.
They do various activities such as:
- cooking
- workshops to learn relaxation techniques
- art
- drama
- movement/yoga
- listen to music
- using sensory equipment and going on trips out in the local area, such as to the cinema, shopping centre or ice rink.
